Before turning into a last-minute bridezilla, take a step back from the stress and remember to R-E-L-A-X! Weddings preparations are highly stressful and nerve-racking! Your wedding is meant to be a happy time, so ditch the negative thoughts and focus on what really matters! Your health, your hygiene, your mental and emotional peace... yes that's right! Even though you have hired wedding planners, it is your wedding and it's obvious that you will be carrying all kinds of burdens and will stress you out, and eventually, it will break you down!
1. Stay Hydrated
Stress is not helped when your body and mind are lagging. Weddings are stressful and lengthy. Keep topped up on water in the lead up to the wedding. Keep a sports bottle with you so you can sip it throughout the day at work or when you’re out and about. If you don’t fancy water, what about a fruit smoothie?
2. Walk your dog
Try and focus your mind on other things before the big day, otherwise, you’ll feel bogged down by it all. Get your mind off things and spend some time with your dog! Since ancient times, dogs have left a lasting, endearing paw-print on the lives of human beings. Today, science continues to back up the advantages of being in the presence of our four-legged best friends. They reduce stress and increase productivity.
3. Pamper Yourself
If working out last-minute wedding details has you on the brink of a meltdown, it’s time for some self-pampering. Put down that phone, step away from your computer and get yourself to the spa.
Taking a spa treatment once a month is the most effective way of soothing your nerves and relieving all kinds of body aches. If you are suffering from insomnia using a spa before bedtime, can improve sleep too.
Sleep Reduces Stress. When your body is sleep deficient, it goes into a state of stress. The body's functions are put on high alert, which causes high blood pressure and the production of stress hormones.

5. Cook a healthy meal
You can also distract and calm yourself by with a bit of baking, blending, and boiling. Work off your stress by cooking and eating a healthy meal.
When you're having a bad and stressful day, science says you shouldn't automatically collapse on the couch; it might be a better idea to break out the recipe books.
Cooking helps mental health in that it can be a creative outlet. It's a way to channel energy, can be used as a distraction.
6. Workout or yoga
Slogging through a few miles on the ‘mill can be tough, but it’s worth the effort! Exercise releases endorphins, which create feelings of happiness.
On a very basic level, physical fitness can boost self-esteem and improve positive self-image. Go for a jog with your BFFs and inhale some fresh air!
However, yoga is also amazing even if you only practice for one hour a week, you will experience the benefits of the practice. If you can do more than that, you will certainly experience more benefits it totally depends on you.
7. Netflix and chill
You should literally bring up Netflix on the big screen and chill out. Binge-watch all those shows you’ve had queued up in your list for ages and relax in your favorite sweats.
Purchase a stack of trashy magazines, order some pizza and invite your girl pals for a sleepover and what not! Treat yourself coz you deserve it!
Your wedding is an exciting, memorable, and positive time, so enjoy the lead-up. Try and remember how you felt when you first got engaged, and harbor this energy moving forward.
